"A Real Hothead"

Films: Spontaneous Combustion (1990)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Some people really need to take anger management. They always seem to blow up at the worst possible times. Then again, at least they don't, you know, blow up...

History: Long ago, Sam's parents were part of a nuclear experiment meant to give people the power of the dreaded atom bomb. Its result made itself clear when the two went up in flames after having Sam. Now, the poor guy tends to set people on fire every time he gets angry. And he gets angry a lot...

Notable Kills: Any time he ignites people, it's never a clean death. Some people get burned up from the inside!

Final Fate: After going into a homicidal meltdown stage that deteriorates parts of his body, Sam ends up finally killed when a rainstorm makes him evaporate in an odd light display.

Powers/Abilities: Can set anything on fire and/or cause things to just combust, no matter the distance.

Weakness: Too much water will cause him to evaporate.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-You got a man teetering on the edge of sanity with insane pyrokinetic powers. Chances are you're going to end up with a lot of charred, bloody corpses all around. Sam's a ticking time bomb, both figuratively and literally.

Trivia: -Spontaneous human combustion is an actual documented phenomena. However, a lot of times, people often associate the cases with perfectly natural outside igniters.

-Sam was played by Brad Dourif, who's vitriolic voice work as Chucky from "Child's Play" makes him a perfect fit for here.

Cleanest? Have you seen the kills here?

He never got to see his parents faces...due to them burning off.
So much for budding fatherhood.

He's fell into a literal ring of fire...

Somebody call an exorcist! Wait, wrong phenomenon.
Fire Syndrome? Seriously, guys?

Who needs stabbing weapons when you can cook your enemies from the inside?
This isn't false advertising. Sorry, potential fan-girls.

Go back to the Fire Nation now!

Suffice to say, evil doesn't do your skin wonders.
